Singalong: My Body Belongs To Me

“My Body Belongs To Me” by Rolypoly Family

This is a song we wrote in 2019 to help children and grownups remember the core concepts of our body safety programme, Body Smarts Through Movement Arts. We hope singing this super catchy song and moving along will help children and grownups to remember the core body safety rules. And you can shake things up by naming as many body parts as possible – and dance with those body parts too 🙂

Big thanks to Singapore Children’s Society (Kidzlive: I Can Protect Myself) for paving the way for body safety education here in Singapore and for inspiring the song. With support by National Arts Council

Warm Up for Home-Based Learning

We created these videos during the pandemic, to help children get their bodies and minds ready for learning at home and through the screen.

The Elbow Show

The Elbow Show is a delightful way for children to learn about their bodies and the possibilities! Join Faye and “The Professor of Dance” (played by our very own Bernice) for imaginative explorations that contribute to children’s body and self awareness.

Each episode includes:
– a warm-up
– facts about the body
– question of the day
– a dance move

This series was made in partnership with 3 Pumpkins, as part of their “Kids Stay Home” initiative, to bring joy to children staying in during the pandemic lockdown here in Singapore. The initiative was supported by Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth.

Letters From 26 Dancers

For this series, 26 dancers make a short dance video each for the letters of the alphabet – can you guess the letters?
